Departmental functions and Procedures 


  • Patrons and Matrons: The NGO directly depends on its patrons and matrons for all round supports especially financially and morally
  • Board of Trustees: Serves as our representatives and seek funds for the NGO from all around the world. Decides the priorities of the NGO. The organisation also depends on them for funds.
  • Directors: Supervises various departments stated below
  • Admin and HR: in charge of all daily activities of the NGO, taking Record of all activities of the organisation, manages the Human resources aspect i.e. volunteers  of the NGO, keep records of all volunteers, the Director serves as the General Secretary of the NGO
  • Finance: See to all financial activities including management of all financial undertakings and auditing, can also seek for funds on behalf of the NGO.  
  • Legal: See to all legal activities of the NGO, giving periodic legal advice on the activities of the NGO also stands in for the NGO in legal Challenges
  • Public Health: Sees to the medical rehabilitation and proper welfare of abused victims, oversees our medical outreaches
  • Empowerment: Sees to the engagement of young girls who are willing in apprenticeships, such as, Fashion Designing, Laundry services, photography, Saloon business catering services beads making and lots more.
  • Media and Publicity: carry out strategic and periodic mass media publicity of the NGO and its essence,
  • Volunteers: will be part of any of the above department and the general assembly.

3rd Annual Symposium and Book review!!! The Third Annual Symposium and Book review on The Plights of our Mothers comes up on  Date: Sunday 26th May 2019. Time: 2pm Prompt Venue: RCCG Sunrise Sanctuary, Hope Road, Old Ife Road Ibadan. This year edition of the Symposium promises to be great as we would be looking at Female Genital Mutilation and its adverse effects on the girl child. Also, we would be engaging a legal luminary on the legal perspectives of child abuse and violence against women in our society.

When child labour gets to the extreme, some people refer to it as child abuse. There are several different types of child abuse, and some children experience more than one form. Two major types are discussed below. ·         Physical abuse ·         Emotional abuse Physical abuse includes deliberate acts of violence that injure or even kill a child. Unexplained bruises, broken bones, or burn marks on a child may be signs of physical abuse.  Emotional abuse, such abuse commonly includes repeated verbal abuse of a child in the form of shouting, threats, and degrading or humiliating criticism. Other types of emotional abuse are confinement, such as shutting a child in a dark closet, and social isolation, such as denying a child friend among others.
