Suggested solution. In most cases, the so called masters mentioned above are women and mothers, I then wonder why “women suffer women” the reasons why these girls are been maltreated are mostly unjustifiable.  These and some other unfortunate conditions are what some of our mothers had gone through when growing up. This calls on all women to rise up to responsibility to put an end to all these predicaments been faced by our future mothers. Influential women in all walks of life must act quickly to adopt and implement the new international law to prevent abuses, protect victims, as well as punish those that force people to work in conditions of slavery. Our lawmakers should forward bills that will create national action plans to tackle forced labour. Better protection for victims. 3rd Annual Symposium and Book review!!! The Third Annual Symposium and Book review on The Plights of our Mothers comes up on  Date: Sunday 26th May 2019. Time: 2pm Prompt Venue: RCCG Sunrise Sanctuary, Hope Road, Old Ife Road Ibadan. This year edition of the Symposium promises to be great as we would be looking at Female Genital Mutilation and its adverse effects on the girl child. Also, we would be engaging a legal luminary on the legal perspectives of child abuse and violence against women in our society.

FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION Female Genital Mutilation(FGM) also called female cutting is the cutting away of some or all of the external female genitalia. FGM is of no importance physically, psychologically nor health-wise, and so should be greatly frowned at. It is also of Importance to note that FGM once done cannot be reversed which makes it the duty of you and I to prevent FGM by educating those around us on the adverse effects of FGM.
