2ND ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM

THE PLIGHTS OF OUR MOTHERS 2018

I have a mission to deliver African women from the shackles of African myths and tradition that has relegated a quite number of them to zero relevance in our society. Issues that am looking forward to address are known problems facing our mothers out there, but they have received little or no attention. For how long are we going to pretend that all is well with the feminine gender in our society? We cannot continue to conclude from our comfort zones that women are having a better right to life out there. I hereby use this medium to call on well-meaning women in the society, who are having the good side of life to themselves, to please step out of their comfort zones and help, their fellow women, who are on the other sides of life.

Now! Is there a hope for the girl child? With all the happenings ranging from female genital mutilation to rape, low educational enrollment of the girl child, child marriage, child labor resulting to physical and emotional abuse amongst other, and one will wonder if truly there is a hope for the girl child. Today’s symposium is going to touch this crucial aspect of the life of a girl child.
You will also agree with me that, there is an urgent need for women in the society to begin to speak up now on issues that are affecting their populace and poses a great treat to the happy living of the feminine life in this part of Africa.
we would also be looking at a career woman and her marriage. The challenges, the stress, the fatigue the courage, and the success
