The Third Annual Symposium and Book review on The Plights of our Mothers comes up on 

Date: Sunday 26th May 2019.
Time: 2pm Prompt
Venue: RCCG Sunrise Sanctuary, Hope Road, Old Ife Road Ibadan.

This year edition of the Symposium promises to be great as we would be looking at Female Genital Mutilation and its adverse effects on the girl child. Also, we would be engaging a legal luminary on the legal perspectives of child abuse and violence against women in our society.

FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION Female Genital Mutilation(FGM) also called female cutting is the cutting away of some or all of the external female genitalia. FGM is of no importance physically, psychologically nor health-wise, and so should be greatly frowned at.
